Overnight Care

At Triple Care Healthcare we know that a good night’s sleep is the foundation of good health and that is why we have two types of night services that are perfect for you if you or your loved one has need for regular support during the night. We have the Waking Night service and the Sleep in Service.

What is Waking Nights?

If you are unable to have a live-in due to space constraints or for any other reason then this service will work best for you. Waking night care is when we provide you with care staff who are awake throughout the night and actively giving you or your loved one care and support. A normal waking night shift will run for 9 hours, from 10pm to 7am, however the times can be adjusted according to your specific needs.

Benefits of Waking Night

  • Peace of mind for you and your loved one as well as the rest of the family.
  • Better quality sleep resulting in improved health
  • Allowing you to receive care in the comfort of your home
  • Receive companionship
  • Help with other tasks in addition to personal support
  • A perfect alternative if live-in care is not suitable
  • Carer is actively awake therefore quick to respond in case of emergency

What is Sleep in Service?

A sleep in service is where we provide a carer to sleep in your home who is available to be woken up quickly to respond to any unforeseen needs that you may have during the night.

Tasks carried out during a Sleep-in Service

  • Personal care and toileting
  • Administration of night medication if required
  • Assisting you in getting ready for bed
  • Repositioning for preventing and managing pressure ulcers
  • Can be woken in the case of unforeseen emergencies
